Capital Realty gets the love

Matt McFedries - Thursday, March 31, 2011
Congratulations to Tom Burke, owner of Capital Realty who's brand new website went live this week at www.capitalrealty.co.nz. The new site replaces the previous the "coming soon..." web page, so it wasn't hard to improve on.

Property Search

The website features a fully searchable list of commercial properties for lease in Wellington. And behind the scenes it's easy for Tom to add new listings as they become available.

Property Alerts

Website visitors can sign up to receive email property alerts specific to size of commercial property they are looking to lease.

Content Management System (CMS)

Using the e360 Content Management System, Tom can easily add and update web pages, insert images and even change the menu. He has a lot of control over the website which means he doesn't have to call us each time he needs to make a change.

Quick Search & Latest Listings

To make the website quick for visitors to search we added "quick search" buttons on the home page for the most commonly searched categories on the site. The latest two listings added to the site are also featured on the home page.

Track your email signature with Google Analytics

Matt McFedries - Friday, November 05, 2010
Have you ever wondered whether people click on the links contained in your email signature? It could be that the dozens of emails you send out daily to your customers and suppliers are actually a valuable source of leads, but you have no idea because you're not measuring it.

Fortunately Google Analytics offers an easy way for you to add tracking code to your email signatures so any clicks appear in your Google Analytics reports.

It's called the Google Analytics URL Builder and with it you can specify a number of parameters which help you track the clicks and actions that come specifically from your email signature.

Imagine the possibilities for campaigns you could run directly from your email signature?

How about including a special offer in your email signature, then tracking it specifically using the "Campaign Name" parameter that you specify in in the URL Builder.

If you try it, let me know how you get on :) Or let us know if you need a hand to set it up.
